Feeding Guide

Adult Cats & Kittens Feeding Guidelines (All Measurements in Cups)

Feed your adult cat on a “free choice” basis. Serve the recommended amount of food each morning, and allow your cat to “nibble” throughout the day. If you need to feed separate meals, divide daily amount into equal portions.

For kittens: Switch from mother’s milk to solid food at 4-5 weeks. Add one part water to three parts food to ease adjustment. Daily portions vary by age, activity, and temperament. Place the entire suggested daily amount in the feeding dish.

Pregnant or Nursing Queens: Feed two to three times the adult amount.

If switching to Grandma Mae’s Country Naturals, gradually mix with current food over 7-10 days. Always provide fresh water. Consult a veterinarian for specific amounts.
