A standard measuring cup of this recipe weighs about 100 g (3.5 oz). For dogs over 70 lb (31.7 kg) add ½ cup for every 10 lb (4.5 kg). Puppies and pregnant or nursing females: about double the chart, in 2–3 meals a day. Adjust to body condition. Fresh water at all times. This recipe.
Transition Guide
Mix gradually over 7–10 days. Soft line: go slower for sensitive pets; ask a vet if tummy upset continues.
- Days 1–3: about 25% new food, 75% current food
- Days 4–6: about 50% new, 50% current
- Days 7–10: about 75% new, 25% current
- Then: 100% new food
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place. Reseal tightly after each use. Fresh water at all times.
